Story of my Heliconia Chartacea painting

This pink Heliconia is so delicate and not easy to paint. Aishah, my daughter discovered this new AirBnB in Kuala Langat, a quaint place called Far Far Away where we stayed over a long weekend break! Owned by Terry and Yati Valentine and Terry, an Australian had built the house himself! It was a fascinating place surrounded by so many wild forest flowers, as this heliconia was growing in its natural environment. I love painting it and so pleased I discovered its daintiness.
